Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a firmware integration method for shortening the integration time of firmware by starting a device by storing firmware loaded from the outside in a volatile memory in an executable format. SOLUTION: This firmware integration method for integrating a new firmware program in a device equipped with at least a CPU which operates according to a main program; a nonvolatile memory which stores the main program; and a volatile memory which develops the main program includes the steps of; storing a new firmware program in a prescribed region in a volatile memory in predetermined configurations in such a format that the CPU is operable; resetting the CPU; starting the firmware program stored in the storage step when the CPU is restarted; and transferring the provided new firmware program to the nonvolatile memory.
