PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ASSIGNING ORDER INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily assign order information so as to improve the efficiency or productivity of processing in each line. SOLUTION: An "auction" is started by presenting order information from an order information processing system 2 to a plurality of production lines 1. In a line 1 which participates in the auction, a position to minimize a load for processing the order information to be bid is determined in a preset processing order by cooperation of a unit controller 10 or a unit 11 of each cell in the line 1, and the load to be added when processing the order information at the determined position is calculated, and the value is transmitted to an order information processing system 2 as a bid value. In the order information processing system 2, the line 1 having transmitted the bit value showing the minimum load is defined as a "successful bid" line, and the order information to be bid is assigned.
