ACCUMULATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator, exhibiting a foreign matter removing function for a long time by delaying clogging of a filter. SOLUTION: This accumulator 6 includes: a tank body 60 provided in a refrigerating cycle 10 using a refrigerant mainly composed of carbon dioxide to store a separated liquid-phase refrigerant; a refrigerant inflow pipe 61 provided to cause the refrigerant to flow into the tank body 60; a refrigerant outflow pipe 62 extended to cause a gas-phase refrigerant in the tank body 60 to be sucked from a refrigerant inlet 62a and flow out to the outside; an oil return hole 63a provided in the refrigerant outflow pipe 62 to suck oil in the liquid-phase refrigerant at the lower part in the tank body 60; and a filter part 64 for removing foreign matter sucked in the oil return hole 63a. The filter part 64 has a mesh part, and the mesh part is formed to have an aperture of 500 μm or less and a surface area of 100 mm2or more. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
