The control method of the cellular phone has: an access detection step (S1) for detecting the state of contact between the apparatus body and the memory card during access or immediately before access; an operation detection step (S2) for detecting a user's operation for taking the memory card out of a slit; and a notification step (S4) for executing predetermined notification processing for the user if the taking-out operation is detected during access or immediately before access.
