ELECTRONIC INFORMATION APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic information apparatus enabling a user to surely recognize that an electronic information medium is being accessed in order to prevent the electronic information medium from being pulled out, and to provide a control method thereof. SOLUTION: The cellular phone inputs and outputs information by electrical contact with the apparatus body and enables the user to use a memory card to be detachably attached on the apparatus body. The control method of the cellular phone has: an access detection step (S1) for detecting the state of contact between the apparatus body and the memory card during access or immediately before access; an operation detection step (S2) for detecting a user's operation for taking the memory card out of a slit; and a notification step (S4) for executing predetermined notification processing for the user if the taking-out operation is detected during access or immediately before access.
