MAGNETIC SHIELDING APPARATUS AND MAGNETIC SHIELDING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively confine a magnetic field from an MRI apparatus around the MRI apparatus and to prevent leakage into the same closed space. SOLUTION: The magnetic shielding apparatus has a housing 6 which surrounds an annular coil 3 forming the magnetic field in the imaging space of a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus from the outer side and has a through-hole 11 formed so as to include a center axis 10 in the coil 3 at least, and an electromagnetic steel plate 7 disposed inside the housing 6, led from at least one axial direction end face in the coil 3 to the other axial direction end face bypassing the outer side of the coil 3 and configured in a rectangular shape of the cross section. The electromagnetic steel plate 7 is composed by inclining the long side of the cross section toward the center axis 10, and the plurality of plates are symmetrically disposed at a fixed angle interval from each other centering on the center axis 10.
