TERMINAL HOLDING DEVICE AND HOLDING STRUCTURE FOR PORTABLE INFORMATION READING TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a terminal holding device and a holding structure for stably holding an information reading terminal, and not to provide any special structure or complicate structure at the front side or back side of the information reading terminal whenever possible. SOLUTION: A terminal holding device 1 is provided with a holding case 10 configured to hold a portable information reading terminal with a reading port formed at one side thereof, and to attachably and detachably hold the opposite section of the reading port of the information reading terminal; an engagement part 30 connected to the holding case 10 so as to be displaceable at an engagement position where it is engaged with the information reading terminal and a non-engagement position where its engagement is released; and a spring member for energizing the engagement part 30 toward the engagement position side. Then, the engagement part 30 is engaged with the reading port of the information reading terminal so that the information reading terminal can be held in such a state that a portion of the information reading terminal is held by the holding case 10.
