Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can structure of a water heater improving hot water discharge temperature characteristics. SOLUTION: A combustion chamber 3 is arranged inside a lower part of a can 1, and a hot water storage chamber 4 is constituted of a space between an upper face plate 1a of the can 1 and a combustion chamber top plate 3a and a clearance between the can 1 and a combustion chamber sidewall 3b. A plurality of flue pipes 5 serving for communication between the combustion chamber 3 and an exhaust chamber 2 adjacent to the upper face plate 1a are mounted, and a hot water discharge temperature sensor 11 is mounted between a hot water discharge pipe 7 and a water supply pipe 6 opened to the sidewall of the can 1. A partition plate 9 is provided in a position below the hot water discharge temperature sensor 11 and above the combustion chamber top plate 3a to divide a hot water storage chamber 4 into an upper hot water storage chamber 4b and a lower hot water storage chamber 4a, and the flue pipes 5 are arranged in communicating ports 9a provided in the partition plate 9. A clearance 10 between the partition plate 9 and the combustion chamber top plate 3a is set to form the flow of hot water along the combustion chamber top plate 3a and the partition plate 9, and each communicating port 9a of the partition plate 9 is formed to be enlarged in inner diameter from the outside toward the center side, and set to increase the passing amount of hot water in the communicating port 9a on the center side.
