Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door capable of maintaining fine appearance by preventing a clearance between a ceiling surface and the sliding door. SOLUTION: The sliding door includes a door head member 2 sliding along an upper rail 1 of recessed shape opened downward, and a travel member 5 traveling along a lower rail 4 provided on a floor face 3. The door head member 2 is provided in a liftable in-and-out manner over the substantially entire length of the upper end 7 of a sliding door body 6, and the door head member 2 is projected upward from the upper end 7 of the sliding door body 6 and loosely fitted into the upper rail 1.
