Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method for connecting a down pipe and a down pipe joint together, which facilitate operations by enabling the down pipe and the down pipe joint to be surely connected together without use of an adhesive. SOLUTION: In a structure in which the down pipe joint 13 having one end 11a of a circular cross-section tubular member 11 equipped with a flange portion 12 is connected to the circular cross-section tubular down pipe 14 from the other end 11b thereof, a heating metal band 16 is temporarily prefixed to the tubular member 11. The heating metal band 16 is provided almost throughout its periphery in parallel with the flange portion 12 in a position away from the flange porion 12 of the tubular member 11; and both ends P1 and P2 thereof are elongated to the flange portion 12 in parallel, and subsequently, continuously formed to a protrusion 16a of the leading end 12a of the flange portion 12 along the flange portion 12. When the protrusions 16a and 16a are charged in the state of inserting the down pipe joint 13 into the tubular member 11, the down pipe 14 and the tubular member 11 on the periphery of the heating metal band 16 generating heat are melted. When the stop of electric charge brings about a normal temperature, the down pipe 14 and the tubular member 11 are fixed with the heating metal band 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
