Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device in which sticking of cooling water to a metal bar is suppressed while keeping the cutting accuracy of the metal bar. SOLUTION: The invention provides a cutting device 10 having an upper drum 13 and a lower drum 15 which are respectively arranged above and below the threading route of a metal bar 6, and on which cutting edges 12a, 12b, 14a, 14b are assembled and for cutting the metal bar 6 by rotationally driving the upper drum 13 and the lower drum 15, wherein a heat-proof member 20 for covering the lower side of the upper drum 13 and a moving mechanism 30 for moving the heat-proof member 20 are provided.
