Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise apparatus that can obtain electrical activity in the heart correctly. SOLUTION: The exercise apparatus 100 provided with an electrocardiogram detector 9 to detect the electrical activity in the heart of an exercising person is provided with a buttock electrode unit 7 and a left-hand electrode unit 8L or right-hand electrode unit 8R respectively positioned where the buttocks and the left hand or right hand of the exercising person contact as two different kinds of body parts. The electrocardiogram-detector 9 detects the electric activity in the heart of the exercising person based on a buttock signal from the buttock electrode unit 7 and a left-hand palm signal from the left-hand electrode unit 8L or a right-hand palm signal from the right-hand electrode unit 8R.
