Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, preventing fall of a display unit by arbitrarily changing the rotating angle of a display unit according to the use situation of the display unit. SOLUTION: This display device 1 includes a display unit 2 and a stand 3 having a tilt mechanism 11 for rotatably supporting the display unit 2 to adjust the erect angle of a display screen 5a. The tilt mechanism 11 includes: a fixed part 15 provided on the stand 3; a movable part 16 provided on the display unit 2; hinge shafts 23a, 23b rotatably connecting the fixed part 15 and the movable part 16 to each other; and a lock member 32 for limiting the rotation of the movable part 16 to the fixed part 15. The lock member 32 is movable between a lock position of engaging with the movable part 16 so that the display unit 2 is not inclined more than a predetermined angle and a release position released from the movable part 16 and a release position of separating from the movable part 16 to allow free rotation of the display unit 2.
