Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for verifying the soundness of a welded structure while a propagation of a fatigue crack generated in an auxiliary member of the welded structure is predicted. SOLUTION: The method enables the prediction of the propagation of the fatigue crack generated in the auxiliary member of the welded structure comprising a main member and the auxiliary member welded so as to intersect with the main member, and verifies the soundness of the welded structure. The method has: a first process for obtaining stress intensity factors in an opening mode and an in-plane shear mode of a crack end by using an analysis model in which the welded structure is provided the crack; a second process for obtaining a progress speed of the crack based on the stress intensity factors in the opening mode and the in-plane shear mode; and a third process for determining whether the crack speed is a predetermined speed or less.
