Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manually operated working machine which can satisfactorily start and which is excellent in exhaust emission value during operation. SOLUTION: The manually operated working machine is provided with an internal combustion engine 9 and a start device 8 for the internal combustion engine. At least one recess part is provided in a cylinder bore 26 of the internal combustion engine. The recess part bridges at least one piston ring 37, 38 at least at one position of a piston 10, and keeps interval n, o, p with all working holes of the internal combustion engine 9 formed in the cylinder bore 26.
