Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for deoxidizing molten steel, which produces little MnO, can inhibit the molten steel from absorbing nitrogen, and further can reduce the production cost compared to a conventional method, when deoxidizing the molten steel which has been obtained through a decarbonizing and refining process for molten pig iron in a converter. SOLUTION: This deoxidizing method includes: firstly adding aluminum dross to the molten steel which has been tapped out from the converter to a ladle while adjusting the amount of the aluminum dross to be added so that dissolved oxygen remains in the molten steel even after a deoxidization step using the aluminum dross; adding Mn, or Mn and Si simultaneously, or adding Mn and Si in this order; and finally adding metal Al to deoxidize the molten steel.
