Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting device for the functional liquid droplet discharge head which enables setting the discharge head easily in a short time on the setting table, including the connection of a passage connection unit for the cleaning solution to a head cleaning device equipped with the device. SOLUTION: The setting device has a setting table 65 set with the functional liquid droplet discharge head 1 and having an opening 101 through which the drive of the functional liquid droplet discharge head 1 on the side of the discharge nozzle is inserted, a positioning mechanism positioning the functional liquid droplet discharge head 1 on the setting table 65 and a pressing mechanism which is arranged on the setting table 65 and presses downward and fixes the functional liquid droplet discharge head 1, together with the passage connection unit 63 for introduction of the cleaning solution into the functional liquid droplet discharge head 1, with the passage connection unit 63 connected to the functional liquid droplet discharge head 1.
