RECORDING MEDIUM HAVING DATA STRUCTURE FOR MANAGING REPRODUCTION OF VIDEO DATA, AND DEVICE AND METHOD FOR REPRODUCING AND RECORDING THE DATA STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium having a file or data structure to manage reproduction of video data based on a title, a chapter and/or multiple reproduction paths, and to provide a device and a method for recording/reproducing the data structure. SOLUTION: The data structure includes a general information file area for storing a general information file. The general information file includes a reproduction list identifier for identifying a reproduction list file which forms the title of video data to be recorded on the recording medium, and a title management information for managing the reproduction of the video data by title. The reproduction list directory area stores at least one or more reproduction list directories, and each reproduction list directory includes at least one or more reproduction list files identified by the reproduction list identifier in the general information file.
