CAMERA MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module capable of fixing a lens holder to a base with high positional accuracy without depending on snap coupling. SOLUTION: The camera module is equipped with a substrate 1 on which an imaging device 2 is mounted, a base 3 which has a pair of vertical wall parts 7 and which is installed on the substrate 1 so as to cover the imaging device 2, and the lens holder 5 whose box-type pedestal part 9 is extended around a lens barrel part 8 holding a lens 6, wherein the lens holder 5 is attached and fixed to the base 3 by inserting the pedestal part 9 between the pair of vertical wall parts 7. By opposing a recess 9a provided on the outer wall surface of the pedestal part 9 to a recess 7a provided on the inner wall surface of the vertical wall part 7 to be deviated in a front-and-rear direction, a bent communicating dead space 10 obtained by making both recesses 7a and 9a communicate with each other is formed, and is filled with an adhesive, which is solidified.
