SOLUTION: A double shell tank system 10 comprises an inner shell tank 20, an outer shell tank 30, a leakage detecting space 40, a leakage detection pipe passage 50, a shut-off valve 60, a gas pressure setting means 70, a pressure detecting means 80 and a display means 90. The pressure detecting means 80 detects gas pressure in the leakage detecting space 40. The display means 90 comprises a receiver 92 for receiving pressure detected data detected by the pressure detecting means 80 and a display unit 94 for displaying the pressure detected data. The display unit 94 displays a gas pressure value detected by the pressure detecting means 80 or displays that the leak occurs at either the inner shell tank 20 or the outer shell tank 30 on the basis of a variation of gas pressure detected by the pressure detecting means 80.
