SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus is provided, which includes an image determining part for reading a file and determining image data in the read file, and a group thumbnail generating part for generating thumbnails corresponding to respective pieces of the image data on the basis of the image data determined by the image determining part and generating a group thumbnail obtained by grouping the thumbnails.
