OBJECTIVE LENS DRIVE AND OPTICAL PICKUP APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens drive and an optical pickup apparatus which can be reduced in size. SOLUTION: Two tilt coils 26 and two tracking coils 27 are disposed so that among planes formed in the respective coils, at least one plane perpendicular to a winding direction thereof are parallel and each have a predetermined reference distance or less, and further they are disposed at such position as to be symmetrical with respect to a center of gravity of a lens holder 22. A focus coil 28 is disposed so that among planes formed in the focus coil 28, at least one plane perpendicular to a recording surface of an optical disk 11 are parallel to the reference plane which is parallel and each have a predetermined reference distance or less relative to two tilt coils 26 and two tracking coils 27, and each have a predetermined reference distance or less.
