Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine energy-saving and improvement of comfort in an air conditioner. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is composed of an outdoor machine 100 comprising a compressor 1 and an outdoor heat exchanger 3, an indoor machine 200 comprising a plurality of indoor heat exchangers, an indoor pressure reducing means, an indoor compressing means, and an indoor fan 31 for distributing the indoor air to the indoor heat exchangers 8, 10, and refrigerant pipes 6, 13 connecting the outdoor machine 100 and the indoor machine 200. A refrigeration cycle is so constituted that in a cooling operation, an evaporation temperature of one of the plurality of indoor heat exchangers 8, 10 is decreased to be used as the first indoor heat exchanger 8 for latent heat, mainly processing latent heat load of the indoor air, and an evaporation of the other indoor heat exchanger is increased to be used as the second indoor heat exchanger 10 for sensible heat, mainly processing sensible heat load of the indoor air.
