PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor having a constitution capable of preventing a short circuit between lead-out lines for windings in the compressor and between electric motor terminals, even if heat affects a winding layer short circuit or the like in an electric motor. SOLUTION: The compressor has lead out lines 5a, 5b and 5c of respective phases for connecting an electric motor winding 3 in an outer frame 1 and a lead-out line terminal 2a of an electric motor terminal 2 attached to the outer frame 1. All or part of lengths of the lead out lines 5a, 5b and 5c are covered with respective insulators 23a, 23b and 23c each having heat resistance exceeding those of the lead-out lines and insulation performance enough to prevent the short circuit between the lead-out lines.
