DIGITAL BROADCASTING RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcasting receiver capable of updating a channel map with satisfactory convenience. SOLUTION: An MPU 11 of the digital broadcasting receiver has: a table acquisition section 112 for acquiring NIT information included in the television broadcasting of a frequency band 1 via a reception section 14 for each preset and prescribed time; an identification information acquisition section 113 for acquiring a logical channel identification information, based on the acquired NIT information; an identification information determination section 114 for determining whether the acquired logical channel identification information coincides with that stored in the channel storage section 121; and an identification information update section 115 for changing the logical channel identification information acquired by the identification information acquisition section 113 to that stored in the channel storage section 121 for recording in the channel storage section 121 when it is determined that the acquired logical channel identification information does not coincide with that stored in the channel storage section 121.
