OBJECT IDENTIFICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device reducing processing load, providing advanced functions at a low cost, and identifying a static/mobile object. SOLUTION: An object identification device (50) includes: an image pickup means (51) attached to a platform (55) being a movable body itself; a first movement detection means (52) for detecting a movement direction and a movement amount of an object existed in an image picked up by the image pickup means; a second movement detection means (53) for detecting a movement direction and a movement amount of the platform; and a static object determination means (54) for determining that the object is a static object when the movement direction of the object is the opposite of the movement direction of the platform, and the respective movement amounts are equal.
