VACUUM SPRAY DRYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum spray dryer carrying out heating and drying processing in a vacuum state, and having a structure with superior processing efficiency. SOLUTION: The vacuum spray dryer is provided with a dryer body 11 having a conical part, a cylindrical part, and a top board, a powder deriving part 11d continuous with the lower end of the conical part, first powder separating means (cyclones 19, 20) connected to the powder deriving part, a two-fluid nozzle 24 for raw material liquid spraying provided in a top board center, an exhaust part 25 provided at the periphery of the two-fluid nozzle, a second powder separating means (a cyclone 21) connected to the exhaust part, a hot air introducing part 26 provided at the outer circumference side more than the exhaust part, and vacuum pumps 22, 23 evacuating the interior of a dryer body via the powder deriving part and the exhaust part from the first powder separating means and the second powder separating means and maintaining the interior of the dryer body in a vacuum state at a degree of a vacuum of -0.05 to -0.09 MPa.
