Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device of a tool for hot line work for fixing the tool for hot line work such as a stick used for holding a repairing place of stringing to a predetermined work place such as a bucket of a high lift work vehicle so that the direction of the tool tip and its movement can be freely adjusted, for enabling the hot line work to be performed by one worker. SOLUTION: A device body 1 installed in and fixed to the predetermined work place is provided with a ball 5 with a stud 4, that is, the ball 5 of mutually arranging a plurality of grooves 17 in a strip shape in the peripheral direction in parallel on an outer peripheral surface of the ball, a concave curved surface-shaped ball-receiving part 6 receiving this ball 5, and a press-fitting fixing means 7 nonrotatably fixing the ball 5 by being press-fitted to the ball-receiving part 6.
