SINGLE SWASH PLATE VARIABLE CAPACITY COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single swash plate variable capacity compressor capable of maintaining lubrication of a sliding portion by supplying lubricating oil to a crank chamber without introducing refrigerant gas returned from an external refrigerant circuit to the crank chamber. SOLUTION: In this single swash plate variable capacity compressor 10, an intake muffler chamber 25 for the refrigerant gas returned from the external refrigerant circuit 40 is arranged on the upper periphery of a front housing 12 positioned to surround the crank chamber 15. The intake muffler chamber 25 and intake chamber 31 communicate with each other by an intake gas passage 51 not through the crank chamber 15. Further, an oil return hole 12b for returning the lubricating oil in the intake muffler chamber 25 to the crank chamber 15 is formed in the front housing 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
