BAG SUPPLY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply one new bag after another in quick succession by supplying a new bag to a rear end of a bag bundle the bag bundle stacked such that an upper level bag is shifted forward on a belt conveyor of a conveyor magazine type bag supply device and enhance processing capacity of a device for lifting up the rear end of the bag bundle. SOLUTION: In the bag supplying device, a bag lifting device 2 is provided with a pair of bag support members 35, 36 disposed facing one another on the left and right sides near the rear edge of the belt conveyor 1, and a rotation mechanism 37, which imparts translational motion of rotation in symmetric in a vertical plane with respect to the conveyance direction of the belt conveyor. the bag support members have bag support parts 35a, 36a horizontally and inwardly protruding and the bag support parts contact both side edge parts of the bag bundle 7 from below to lift up the rear edge portion of the bag bundle and then separated from both the side edge parts of the bag bundle outwardly. While the bag supporting parts lifting the rear end of the bag bundle, a new bag is feeded into a space between the conveyance surface of the belt conveyor and the bag bundle.
