DOOR OPENING/CLOSING MECHANISM FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downward-opening type door opening/closing mechanism for vehicle capable of opening/closing a downward-opening type door of a vehicle even in a small place difficult to secure a space outside of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A downward-opening type door for opening/closing an opening 2 of a vehicle C comprises a plane member 3a formed at a width enough to seal the opening 2, a pair of right and left rollers 3b and 3b pivotally fitted to a side of the plane member 3a, and link members 3c and 3c turnably fitted to lower ends of the rollers 3b and 3b in one end thereof and turnably fitted to lower parts of a right and a left sides of the opening 2 in the other end thereof. Guide rails 4 and 4 for guiding the rollers 3b and 3b by sliding them are arranged in a right and a left parts of the opening 2. A door housing space 7 for housing the door 3 is provided inside of a cabin, and a floor board 6 is arranged in an upper part of the space 7 freely to rise. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
