LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system for a vehicle improved in a stage effect in nighttime lighting by effectively using an interior space. SOLUTION: This lighting system 10 for the vehicle is constituted of a trim body 30 having a core material 31 having translucence and a skin material 32 having translucence adhered on the surface side of the core material 31 and applied with patterns, a light guiding plate 50 arranged between the trim body 30 and a vehicle body panel 70 and to irradiate light from the inner surface side of the trim body 30 and its light source body 60, and it provides a contrast between patterns at the night time and patterns at the day time by fusing the patterns of the skin material 32 and patterns on the side of the light guiding plate 50 by floating up the patterns of the light guiding plate 50 to the surface of the trim body 30 in the nighttime lighting by adhering a design layer 51 furnished with the patterns of translucence on the surface of the light guiding plate 50 or forming patterns by an irregularly working surface 52.
