Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system for a vehicle improved in a stage effect in nighttime lighting by effectively using an interior space. SOLUTION: This lighting system 10 for the vehicle is constituted of a trim body 30 made of a core material 31 having translucence and a skin material 32 having translucence adhered on the surface side and a lighting unit 50 arranged between the trim body 30 and a vehicle body panel 60 and to irradiate light from the inner surface side of the trim body 30 and devised to light up patterns on the product surface side. The skin material 32 is made of two layers having a plurality of the different patterns and changes the patterns to be lighted up on a trim surface in daytime and nighttime lighting.
