METHOD FOR DESIGNING DIGITAL DATA OF ABUTMENT IN DENTAL IMPLANT TECHNOLOGY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for designing digital data of an abutment in dental implant technology. SOLUTION: In step (a), an implant treatment plan is created based on digital data formed by writing patient's data into a computer system so as to implant a fixture in a best location of a planned implant portion. In step (b), reference digital data of an abutment are set in the planned implant portion. The reference digital data are positioned on the fixture. In step (c), reference digital data of the abutment including a subgingival margin and a supragingival margin positioned in its upper part are adjusted. An angle between the subgingival margin and the supragingival margin is adjusted based on the best correction position. In step (d), the adjustment of the reference digital data of the abutment is completed and the digital data of the abutment are completed.
