Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator whose coil occupancy is high and a rotating armature that includes the stator. SOLUTION: The stator is provided with a circular stator core having a plurality of teeth sections 111, an insulator 140 that is fitted into the teeth sections 111, and a stator coil 120 that is wound around the insulator 140. The teeth sections 111 has a side 111A that faces a slot section, an edge on an inner peripheral side of the stator core in the side 111A is positioned farther to the outer peripheral side, than to the edge on the inner periphery side of the stator core in the stator coil 120. In other words, the distance (L1) between the edge on the inner peripheral side of the stator core in the insulator 140 and the edge on the inner peripheral side of the stator core in the side 111A is longer than that (L2) between the edge on the inner peripheral side of the stator core, in the insulator 140 and the edge on the inner peripheral side of the stator core in the stator coil 120.
