Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket member of which a handling property is improved. SOLUTION: Since a seal lip is composed of an elastic body capable of exhibiting a sealing function by being deformed by pressing from a pair of separators, in the gasket member, gas sealing property between the pair of the separators can be secured, and further, since the gasket member has a shape reinforcing part composed of a material having a higher rigidity than that of the seal lip, deformation of the gasket member (twist, breakage or the like) is suppressed and the handling property is improved. Moreover, like this, by means that the deformation is suppressed, a membrane electrode assembly positioned at the inner peripheral side of the gasket member is prevented from being broken and damaged in handling the gasket member.
