DEVICE FOR ESTIMATING EFFECT BY CLINICAL DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for estimating an effect by clinical trial data, capable of estimating a border point between a region where the clinical trial data of an able-bodied person influences on the entire clinical trial and a region where the clinical trial data of a person who is slightly diseased influences the entire clinical trial, and capable of properly estimating the effect of taken drug even with less clinical trial data when estimating the effect of drug and specific healthy foods. SOLUTION: The device for estimating the effect by clinical trial data includes a calculation process part which processes clinical trial data containing able-bodied person data and a data storing part consisting of a clinical trial data file for recording procedure condition, pre-procedure value, and post-procedure value of the clinical trial data and a program file for recording a calculation program. The calculation process part includes a candidate inflection point value setting means obtained by setting a data process range and an incremental width based on the pre-procedure value, and an inflection point deciding means which decides an optimum inflection point from the result obtained by substituting the candidate inflection point value and clinical trial data for a first model equation of the calculation program.
