PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content acquiring device, a program, a content acquiring method, and a content acquiring system. SOLUTION: The content acquiring device includes: a receiving part for receiving an RSS feed including first location information which indicates a location of meta data of a plurality of pieces of division data to be obtained by dividing content data; a meta data acquiring part for acquiring the meta data, based on the location indicated by the first location information included in the RSS feed; a plan developing part 234 for developing the acquisition plan for acquiring the plurality of pieces of division data, based on the attributes of each division data indicated by the meta data and the attributes of a division data group including two or more pieces of division data; and a division data acquiring part for acquiring a part or the whole of the plurality of pieces of division data according to the acquisition plan developed by the plan developing part.
