Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear device capable of transmitting large torque with small noise and having improved durability. SOLUTION: The gear device is provided with first and second gears 2, 3 engaged with each other. A tooth part 4 of the first gear 2 is metallic and a tooth part 6 of the second gear 3 is constituted by laminating a resin part 6 and a metallic part 9. A tooth flank 8b of the resin part 8 is protruded from a tooth flank 9b of the metallic part 9. Collision energy of the first gear 2 with respect to the second gear 3 is absorbed by the resin part 8. A bent recessed part 13 is formed on the tooth flank 8b of the resin part 8. The bent recessed part 13 is arranged inwardly in the radial direction from a pitch circle C of the resin part 8.
