Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharging device of an engine capable of increasing engine torque in a low engine speed zone while having a simple structure. SOLUTION: This supercharging device for the engine is provided with an exhaust manifold 16 connected to an exhaust port 8 of each cylinder 3 and including at least two or more independent exhaust passages 16a, 16bc, and 16d, a collecting part 31c collecting exhaust gas passages of all cylinders into one at the downstream side thereof, and a turbocharger 50 connected to a downstream side thereof, a variable exhaust valve 30 capable of varying each exhaust passage cross section area of the independent exhaust gas passages 16a, 16bc and 16d at an upstream position of the collecting part 31c, and a variable exhaust valve control means 20 driving and controlling the same. The variable exhaust valve control means 20 executes independent exhaust gas throttling control for reducing each passage cross section area from the maximum area by the variable exhaust valve 30 in the low speed zone A3 in a supercharging zone.
