CLEANING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning technique to remove a foreign substance deposited inside a pipe by a high-pressure cleaning fluid without damaging a cable even in case the cable is left as it is inserted in the pipe. SOLUTION: This cleaning device 6 is designed to spew the high-pressure cleaning water to the inner peripheral surface of the cable pipe 1 by jet force from many jet nozzles 23 arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the cleaning device 6, under the state that the cable 2 is inserted through the cleaning device 6 and retained as it is there. Consequently, the high-pressure cleaning fluid is not directly spewed to a linear object and therefore, the cable 2 is not damaged by the high-pressure cleaning water. Thus it is possible to increase the pressurizing threshold of the high-pressure cleaning water and strongly clean the foreign substance deposited inside the cable pipe 1, although the cable 2 is left as it is inserted through the pipe 2.
