GARBAGE TREATMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify mounting of an impeller and finely cutting a fibrous garbage dropping off to a discharge chamber in a garbage treatment device provided with the impeller in the discharge chamber. SOLUTION: The garbage treatment apparatus is provided with a crushing chamber 2 for crushing the thrown garbage, a rotary plate 3 forming a bottom part of the crushing chamber, a fixing blade 7 for surrounding the periphery of the rotary plate, the discharge chamber 8 for dropping off the crushed garbage from the periphery of the rotary plate, and a drive motor 10 for the rotary plate below the discharge chamber, and in the apparatus, the impeller 17 for accelerating the flow of dropped off water and the crushed article is provided in the discharge chamber 8. Abutment plate 15 having side plates 16 laid on a bearing part 12 at both sides are superposed on the lower surface of the rotary plate 3 and are exposed, and both end parts of the side plate 16 are formed on the impeller 17. Further, extension parts 19 projected from the rotary plate 3 and opposed to the lower end surface of the fixing blade 7 can be provided at both ends of the abutment plate 15.
