STRETCHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretcher capable of being easily brought up/down on stairs by a simple structure, and capable of being easily used in a narrow space such as in a landing of the stairs or in an elevator. SOLUTION: The stretcher 1 carries a person to be carried by sliding the stretcher on the ground surface or floor surface with the person mounted on the stretcher. The stretcher 1 has locking parts 52 to be locked with corners in the stairs, disposed in a part of a sliding part 5 on the rear side to be slid in contact with the ground surface or floor surface of the corners of the stairs. The locking parts 52 are locked with the corners of the stairs, and the stretcher is brought down on the stairs step by step by repeating the locking and unlocking of the locking parts utilizing the principle of leverage. The person to be carried can be placed on a stretcher body 2 in such a state that the waist and the lower limbs are bent with the legs opened to the left and right sides. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
