ULTRASONIC ENDOSCOPE, ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS, AND POSITION SENSOR FIXING METHOD IN ULTRASONIC ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic endoscope for which a position sensor can be fixed to the ultrasonic endoscope without changing the configuration of a general purpose ultrasonic endoscope, an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, and a position sensor fixing method in the ultrasonic endoscope. SOLUTION: Inside a treatment tool insertion channel 16 for inserting a treatment tool formed in the ultrasonic endoscope 2, a position sensor 4 for detecting the position and posture of the ultrasonic endoscope 2 is fixed by a fixing means. The fixing means is a balloon 18 provided inside the treatment tool insertion channel, the position sensor 4 and the balloon 18 are inserted into the treatment tool insertion channel 16, the balloon 18 is expanded by putting air in, and the position sensor is pressed to the inner wall of the treatment tool insertion channel 16, pressurized and fixed.
