APPARATUS FOR PROMOTING MARINE ALGA GROWTH BY IRRADIATION OF IONIZING RADIATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for promoting marine alga growth by irradiation of ionizing radiation. SOLUTION: This apparatus for promoting marine alga growth includes pouring a culture solution into a placement area of a storage unit, implanting a plurality of algae spores into an attached unit, performing water flow culturing by a culture solution with a filter in the placement area, irradiating with a radiation irradiating unit, a dose required for an irradiation frequency section which is set with a time unit so as to grow each of the algae spores to algae young buds, taking away the algae young buds from the attached unit followed by setting in an outdoor water flow pond, performing water flow culturing, and further collecting algae from the attached unit after each of the algae grows to an appropriate length. Then, it is possible to promote alga growth by a hormesis method, find out the most suitable thickness increase or shortening of a growth period, and reproduce necessary algae in mass production.
