ACTUATOR WITH OPERATION PIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator which has an operating pin capable of accurately restricting the forward movement of a piston before the actuator is operated, and capable of quickly causing the operating pin to move rearward when the actuator is operated. SOLUTION: The actuator A1 comprises the piston 45 having the operating pin 54, a squib 37, and a cylinder case 32 for holding the piston 45, in which the piston 45 is moved rearward along with the operating pin 54 by injecting a driving gas G from the squib 37 into the cylinder case 32. A cap portion 46 for covering the side of the squib 37 with the gas injection port comprises a cylindrical side portion 47 and a front end wall portion 52 , and the operating pin 54 is projected from the center of the front end wall portion 52. The cap portion 46 is arranged with an injection hole 52a through which the driving gas is injected. The forward movement of the piston 45 before the actuator is operated is restricted by the front end wall portion 52 of the cylinder case 32 coming into contact with the ceiling wall portion 34 of the cylinder case 32.
