IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, LASER LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE, AND CONTROL METHOD OF THOSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a laser light emitting device where uneven density in a formed image is reduced by reducing a temperature difference between laser light sources, and to provide a control method of those. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus comprises a light emitting means including three or more laser light sources, for emitting the laser light to an image carrier so as to form an electrostatic latent image, wherein prior to the electrostatic latent image formation, the three or more laser light sources are individually driven so as to stabilize the output light amount. Further, in this image forming apparatus, a sequence of light amount control of the laser light sources is controlled so as to average the temperature distribution of the light emitting means.
