LOW-PRESSURE CASTING APPARATUS AND LOW-PRESSURE CASTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-pressure casting apparatus and a low-pressure casting method, wherein the maintenance is easy as well as the conventional case with a simple constitution, and a generation of a cold shut on a disk surface of a wheel for vehicles can effectively be restrained. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the low-pressure casting apparatus for casting the wheel for vehicles having a rim part and the disk part, which is provided with a center gate opened in a cavity for forming the disk part, and a side gate part opened in the cavity for forming the rim part, wherein a S2/S1 of drawing having the minimum cross sectional area S2 and the maximum cross sectional area S1 of a runner connected to the side gate, is 0.1-0.5, and a S4/S3 of the drawing having the minimum cross sectional area S4 and the maximum cross sectional area S3 of the runner connected to the center gate, is ≤0.8.
