Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the constitution of a measuring device for weight training machines for measuring the number of lifting/lowering times of a weight and presenting it to an exerciser. SOLUTION: This measuring instrument is provided with a detected member 10 configured to be stuck or attracted to the weight W lifted/lowered relative to a training machine body, and a measuring unit 1 configured to be stuck or attracted to the body T1 of the training machine, wherein the measuring unit stores a detection member 3 for detecting the displacement of the detected member, detects the lifting/lowering of the weight by the displacement of the detected member, counts the number of lifting/lowering times and displays it to the exerciser.
