Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance efficiency of image formation of a small number of colors (such as black and white) in an image formation system in which color printing is possible. SOLUTION: In the image formation system, color boards of Y, M, C and K are provided with page memories 42, 50, 58 and 66, respectively. In image formation of color image data, respective storage destinations of color element data (Y_Data_1, M_Data_1, K_Data_1) are assigned to page memories of the corresponding color boards. Then, in the image formation of black and white image data, respective storage destination of pages are sequentially assigned to the page memories of color boards of Y, M, C and K.
